Heath Saunders and Mack Brown set to co-direct Jay Armstrong Johnson’s I PUT A SPELL ON YOU Halloween Concert at Webster Hall. This year marks the star-studded spooky spectacular’s 10th anniversary, and all proceeds go to the Ali Forney Center.

Mack directed Lisa Stephen Friday’s solo show about her legendary life story as a trans elder and early aughts rockstar. TRANS AM played at Joe’s Pub, Sept 10-12, and their trans mom brought the house down.

Mack joins as dramaturg workshopping John Anthony Loffredo’s riff on Tennessee Williams, FROU FROU: A menagerie of sorts. Directed by Zi Alikhan, produced by George Strus and Jason Arnold.

Roundabout Directors Group Cohort 7 was announced, Mack continues their role as Lead Facilitator.

Mack was Associate Choreographer to Connor Gallagher on a summer workshop of Sarah Silverman’s THE BEDWETTER directed by Anne Kauffman.

In their 20th year with the Summer School for the Performing Arts, Mack continued their role as Associate Artistic Director. Amidst SSPA’s 15 show season, Mack directed 42 students in MATILDA.

Mack was named winner of the SDCF 2025 Abe Burrows Award for Assistant Directors along with Tai Thompson.

sophie sagan-gutherz’s EELS directed by Mack Brown had a reading with Fresh Ground Pepper’s 2025 Fellowship.

Mack was named a 2025-2026 NYCLU Artist Ambassador. The Artist Ambassador program was created to help amplify the NYCLU’s fight for civil rights and liberties. The program engages, educates and empowers arts community members who are passionate about the intersection of art and social justice.

Murphy Taylor Smith, Emerson Mae Smith, and Mack Brown presented their original musical, WATCHDOG at Ars Nova’s ANTFest 2025.

Mack was Assistant director to Jess McLeod on Second Stage’s production of ON THE EVOLUTIONARY FUNCTION OF SHAME.
